| Courta ~ From Guelph, ON she has loved dance since she began at age 5. She has studied and competed in various disciplines including tap, ballet & pointe, jazz, modern, & lyrical. Courta completed exams through the Society of Russian Style Ballet and graduated from Acadia University in 2005 as a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Courta completed a BA Sociology ('09) while coordinating the ADCCommunity programme - which she also assisted in creating in 2005. She teaches for and is an executive member of the Acadia Dance Collective and was an enthusiastic member of Dance Acadia since its creation in 2004. Courta currently teaches dance in a variety of settings - including Gaspereau School's Dance Clubs. She loves travelling our area sharing dance in schools and with her community. She is listed among the dance teachers of Perform NS and is very excited to be coordinating the 7th year of ADCC while instructing for the School of Music at Acadia University. |

Larissa ~ Larissa began dance at Halifax Ballet Theatre at 13. She studied intensively under Clare Bader before she won a scholarship to The Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet. She attended the National Ballet School, the School of American Ballet, Joffrey Ballet School, and Miami City Ballet School. In 2000, Larissa attended The London Studio Centre, The National Ballet of Ireland, and joined the Ballet Ireland Educational Team. Larissa has been coached by Dame Alicia Markova, Evelyn Heart, Suzanne Farrell, & Maria Tallchief. Larissa has also danced professionally with The Pennsylvania Ballet, Independent Ballet Wales, and Images of Dance London. Larissa is very happy to be apart of ADCCommunity while pursuing an English degree at Acadia University. | |

| Stephanie ~ A science student at Acadia, Steph has taken dance classes at Maritime Dance Academy since age 3. She has completed several Russian Syllabus Ballet exams (SRB), numerous CDTA Jazz & Tap exams, and also studies ballet & pointe, hiphop, and modern. Stephanie has been instructing dance classes in Bedford, NS and loves working with children. Steph also acts as the Administrator for ADCCommunity and is responsible for arranging performances within the community. | ||

Julia ~ Julia Cugini is currently completing her Music Degree at Acadia University specializing in Musical Theatre. Julia is also very involved in the dance community at Acadia. She is the new President of Acadia Dance Collective and has been a member of Dance Acadia for the past two years. Julia has studied different styles of dance such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, and lyrical, and has studied classical voice for over twelve years. Julia is very excited to be teaching for ADCC for her second year! | |

| Katie A. ~ Katie is in her second year at Acadia studying Biology. She brings over ten years of competitive performance dance experience to the ADCCommunity in styles including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap. Originally from Halifax, Katie has been spreading her love of dance through teaching creative movement, hip hop, jazz and ballet at a recreational level for the past three years. She loves working with kids and has been involved in her community as a camp counselor at a Halifax City Rec. Katie is very excited to become involved in the dance community of Acadia by teaching jazz, contemporary and hip hop this year! Katie also instructs an adaptive dance class for the SMILE program and was involved in Halifax's adaptive dance programme Revolutions. | ||

Krista ~ Krista is from Calgary, Alberta and is currently completing her Bachelor of Business Administration. She has tried many forms of dance, but was most passionate about Irish dancing. She danced and competed for 7 years all over Western Canada, participating in and choreographing for several dance outs and competition pieces. Krista has a substantial amount of experience working with children, and is very excited for her first year with the ADCCommunity. | |

Ashley (Retired) ~ An Irish dancer who competed under the DeMenezes Academy of Irish Dance in Oakville, ON, Ashley continues to study in Halifax after attending Acadia University as a sociology student. She has been dancing competitively since age 13 and she has extensive experience teaching children - she brought this wisdom and her years of dance experience to the students of ADCCommunity for three years. | |

Megan (Retired) ~ An Honours Math student from Cape Breton, Megan studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, & cabaret with Northside Dance Unlimited and the Cape Breton School of the Arts. She completed ballet, tap, and jazz exams through the A.D.A.P.T. syllabus. As a member of the Cape Breton School of the Arts Troupe, Megan competed and did workshops in Halifax, St. Johns, Toronto, and at local dance showcases. She assisted in teaching children's ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical, and a tap class for the Acadia Dance Collective. Megan was also the administrative assistant for ADCCommunity and single handedly organised the tech cues for "Bring Your Dancin' Feet" while acting as stage manager. | |

Katie R. (Retired) ~ This Honours History grad was immensely dedicated to Wolfville's ever-growing dance community. She brought many years of dance experience in a variety of styles, as well as a passion for choreographing, collaborating, and helping dance enthusiasts of all ages strive to reach their potentials. Katie received the majority of her training at Deas Island Dance Centre in BC and took classes at Vancouver's Harbour Dance Centre. She was also the coach/director of Acadia University's first ever performance dance team - Dance Acadia - and was a teacher and executive member of the Acadia Dance Collective. |
